A Comic Book Company for Detroit.
Hello and thank you for visiting our website, It has been our intention for many moons to establish a website and after many false alarms, starts etc, we have finaly succeeded. |
From Dream To Reality.
This company has had many forms starting as a drem in Junior High School by Owner and CEO Eric leggs. After a chance meeting of another comic book artist by the name of Anthony Cunningham, Jesse Mercier and finally James Stafford the dream begin it's journey to reality. After many years of creating homemade characters and comics and many years of the study of art and the business, including reciving certification in commercial art,desktop publishing (Crokett Vocational) and business (Detroit Entreprenuership Institute), Eric sought out Jesse and Anthony and in 1992 they formed Genesis Comics.
1993 both Jesse and Anthony placed the reins of CEO in the hands of Eric and formed their owns Studios BLOODSTONE (Jesse's) and NITRO COMICS (Anthony's). |
Heroes In the City.
Here at Genesis we are fans of comics and always loved heroes that make their home in a major city. Well look no further Detroit has it's own characters beginning With Detroit's 1st Super hero NIGHTFIRE! A hero with the power of a sun and the heart of the city. Others superheroes will include The Wings of Justice, Hammer, The Spirit of Detroit and The Centinals. |
Join The Genesis Vision.
Our vision is to use super characters that will have a base of operations in the city of Detroit as other companies have characters in such citys as New york and California,. Of course the characters of Genesis will visit other cities even other countries. We are looking for you to support this vision by telling a friend and emailing others with the site and purchasing our T-shirts, trading cards, comic books and other merchandise.
